WHAT TO EXPECT AT HANDLING PHYSICAL THERAPY DURING COVID-19

Ten Years.

Ten years of hard work, late nights, and early mornings.

Ten years of building a business and family (three boys later).

Ten years in New Castle, Delaware.

Ten years of having the privilege to work with the best team and community partners.

Ten years of taking a dream from concept to reality.

Ten years of helping our incredible patients get back to what they love doing.

2020 definitely threw us some curveballs, but we would not be standing strong ten years later without our support team and all of you—our loyal patients.

Here are some kind things patients have said about Tom and HPT over the past ten years:
We highly recommend Handling Physical Therapy for your child’s rehabilitation needs. Handling Physical Therapy was recommended to us by a friend in the orthopedic industry when our daughter was referred to physical therapy. When I reached out to Tom about setting up a consultation he responded almost immediately. Both Tom and Kaitlyn made her feel comfortable and relaxed during her sessions and allowed me to remain with her rather than sitting in the waiting area. They were both very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and answered any questions she or I had during our two months of visits. While we hope that the need to return does not arise, we would definitely return for our physical therapy needs if it did. – Sandra S

I highly recommend this place for your rehabilitation. I went for my knee (Torn ACL). I previously tore my ACL in high school and I went to another establishment for that rehab and I will say I had a much better experience at Handling Physical Therapy. The family like environment that Tom and Kaitlyn provide make the session relaxing and made me want to come back the next day for my rehab. They are both very knowledgeable and gave me multiple stretches or tasks that I could accomplish at home that could help aid in my rehabilitation. They are very accommodating with working around your schedule. I had to take a two month hiatus for work, however I stayed in touch with Tom via email. He recommended various workouts I could do so that when I was able resume my sessions, I would still be on a reasonable timeline for my rehabilitation. – Basil W

After 2 grueling knee injuries I sought consolation in by far the greatest PT clinic on this side of the Mississippi if not America. With a personalized approach to every client Tom and Caitlyn make your recovery process a breeze and keep you motivated and constantly improving. Not for one moment did I not feel at ease when surrounded by this elite support system. This differs from big chain pts in regard to the fact that they truly care about their clientele and treat them not as patrons but as family. If you’re looking for people who are extremely knowledgeable about a variety of injuries come to Handling PT they have adapted and evolved with the times to truly stay up to date with treatment plans and as new research comes out they will incorporate it into your routine. I simply adored how at Handling PT I felt at home, with depressing injuries you can often feel alone and that you’re never get better but Tom will keep your head on straight and keep you aware of your recovery timeline. To be frank I can’t say enough good things about this clinic that now holds a special place in my heart the choice is simple for where you need to go to physical therapy, Handling PT! – Aidan C

I was in a car accident and broke my knee. I am walking and riding a bike less than 4 months later. Tom and Caitlyn are awesome, personable, knowledgeable, and great at their job. Would recommend to ANYONE who needs PT. – Sally C

These kind words mean everything to our team and we cannot say thank you enough.

After ten years in business and simply operating by word of mouth and referrals from the amazing physicians in the community, we decided it’s finally time to revamp our website to showcase our services. Please continue to spread the word and think of Handling Physical Therapy for all of your injury prevention and rehabilitation needs.

Thank you for being a part of the HPT family. Here’s to the next ten!
